About me

From medicine to machine intelligence

I am an AI engineer: I plan, develop and train teams, and take care of the software implementation. My background is in medicine and pharmacy. I complemented that training with a degree in computer science — which made me fluent in standard interfaces for documentation, the analysis of scientific literature, and statistical data processing.

Given how fast AI is developing across every sector, I specialised in building AI systems such as chatbots and AI agents — from custom prototypes and enterprise roll-out to staff training, hosting, maintenance and updates. My goal is to help people understand artificial intelligence and weave it into their business processes.

Nature & my books

Rooted in the Namibian wild

As a scientist, I feel a deep connection to nature. Namibia's dry forests and open savannas are my home — and my source of inspiration. In the intervals between projects, I am drawn out into the bush with my camera.

This passion has given rise to various book projects: identification guides to Namibia's mammals, a book for executives inspired by the animal world, and an adventure story for children.
